Ok, so my friend taught me how to make these darling tutu's and I'm in Heaven! It turned out so cute. Blue is Baileys favorite color so I made this one first- I had her dance around while I snapped a few pics. There were so many cute ones, here are a few to share.

I have been looking for a pattern to make a tutu for months. Do you mind sharing the details of this darling tutu? I would love to recreate this for my two little girls...Did you use a pattern? It is one of the cutest I have seen.

Hey there,
The tutu's are easy to make they just take time! For my daughter (who is six) I used around 2 yards for the ribbon that ties around the waist. It takes about 8 yards of tulle (I used almost 10- it depends how full you want it) For the length you measure from the waist down to where you want it. (the shorter it is, the fuller it looks) There are two ways of tying it- I tied mine like this...

but you can also do one single knot
*The biggest pain and time was cutting it out- but well worth the effort. My friend helped me with this style but if you need more ideas I just googled "making tutu's" and tons of ideas came up-- Have fun!!!
