So little Owies had gotten into this wonderful habit of taking off his diaper when he poos (without letting me know- of course) So I was doing the dishes the other day, when all was too quiet- so I proceded upstairs to find little poo droplets in the hallway that lead into his room (at this point I know I'm in for a reall treat!) He has taken off his poopey diaper (which he put into the garbage, I'm so very proud :-) and has climbed into his bed and is curled up on his blankets! Oh what joy this brings me!!! So I gave him a quick bath (although the blankets did a great job of that!) and threw the damaged goods in the washer. (and cleaned up the hallway) We had a great little chat on not taking off our diaper unless Mom is there to help and we brought out the little potty.
So our day goes on and I get busy doing something else and once again... all is quiet!!!!! So I go upstairs to find Owies on his changing table covered in poo trying to wipe himself (I tell myself, "Wow, my son is resourceful and trying to get the job done himself, even though the wipe container itself is covered in poo and so is the changing table- "must have happy thoughts!!!)
So once again into the tub we go. When we are all done I still notice some unpleasant odors in his room. Its then when I notice the clean clothes I had just put in his closet pulled out in a pile with steaks of poo and pee all over them--- Oh Happy Day!!! Oh the joys of cleaning up poo!
Also we will be full fledged potty training shortly :)
Gotta love my son!!!

Now remember Britoli you can't eat the poo. I know you love chocolate and all, but poo is caca. LOL. Owies is soo funny. You gotta love that he is trying to clean himself up and throwing the diaper away. Oh the joys of motherhood. Can't wait. See you Sunday.
That is quite the story! It makes me scared to have little boys!:) And twice in a day this happens....! ha ha...you are a very sweet mother! But that is great that he is trying to clean himself up...its cute! I guess just not so great when he uses the clean clothes to do it!:)
Hehe:) That little stinker--literally!!! I feel sooo lucky to be past that stage, if only for a short time:( Hope the actually potty training goes better!
Props to the little one for being mature enough to handle his own business:)
Oh, I love that story! The joys of motherhood. What a little man, cleaning himself up so mom won't have to!
I guess I won't complain now when my boys climb in the bathtub to take care of their business. For some reason they think that it is an oversized toilet. But you know that if you are ever feeling overwhelmed with that boy of yours just give me a call and I will make all your ptroblems dissapear. Or at least we can gripe together about our boy troubles. But I promise you, I will always have "twice" as many troubles as you. HA HA
Wow.. I was laughing so hard when I read that!! Gotta love that sweet Owies!
I love that story because I wasn't there to witness it. Bless your heart for not killing him :) I love little owee, he's the cutest!! Thanks again for coming to graduation, that was so nice of you. And thanks for taking pics with your sweet camera and your amazing talent. And thanks for working so hard on such short notice for Christy and Kenny. You are amazing and it was fun to watch your creativity in motion!
Oh my goodness, it looks like you had quite an exciting day! There's really nothing more pleasurable in life than cleaning up someone else's bodily fluids (or in this case, solids). Seriously, I laughed so hard I cried. Way Funny!
