So like most moms, I have one child who struggles to get dressed in the morings..........This is how we start our day......
Delicious bowl of oatmeal....yes that seems very healthy until you hear I
put extra spinkles in it so he'll eat it.......I know... Mom of the Year!
By this time, Bailey has left for school and its about 9:00 am
We then watch some cartoons... I attempt at doing the dishes and
then I decide its probably time to get dressed for the day
10:00-10:30 am. So off we go to his room.......
He then jumps on his bed (which I encourage because by golly itwears him out ;) and then we talk about why we have his name
above his bed..... Owen: "why do you put my name on the wall"
Me: "because I thought it would be nice" Owen: "well.....
thats because I'm pretty cool!" Me: "why yes you are"
Then he decides it would be a great time to "count his munnies"
"mom, I have sooo many munnies....we have to count them"
Me: "Owen its time to get some clothes on"
Owen: "but mom, my cars need to race or they won't wake up!!"
So we progress into the Shake n Go car crash races--
By now its almost lunch time.......
Owen: "mom, I need to do my computer games, I want
to do the circle one !(PBS Kids)" "Mom, I'm a bobble head genious!"
(I have no idea where that name came from!)
His navigational skills on the computer are quite
cool....... a sweet little computer dude in the making!
He then is bored and decides to run from me and hide on the couch****He does offer his foot for the picture though*****
After lunch sometime we have progressed to just pants...
This is what a typical day of getting ready is all about...
and I wouldn't trade it for AnYtHiNg!!!!

I wish you would stay this funny, sweet, talkative little guy forever

That sounds like quite the ordeal! I had to have a little laugh about the comment about how your singing makes him sick. Ha, that is funny:) Kids say the funniest things. He sounds like a character.
I only have my kids dressed by noon if Christopher has preschool. In fact I'm only dressed by noon if Christopher has preschool. LOL
I can't how big he is getting though! And he looks just like Nick!

That is too cute! He is funny. Kids say the silliest things. I love to hear what he says and you always say the quickest remarks. I can hear in my head exactly how you are saying. "Why yes you are." You're the best Brit. Oh and by the way our sweet pork turned out pretty sweet. Thanks.
