So anywho, it was my birthday on Sunday,

I had been celebrating it since Friday!! ( yeah, thats right!) Anyways, I was thinking about all the knowledge I've accumulated since a wee baby and I'd thought I'd share 28 random things about myself.......

but first............ some pictures

So.... I think I started off as a pretty cute kid..... I know most kids go through the....big teeth era, the "what was the matter with my hair" look, and of course the very special clothing matter.

This picture was taken when I was 7- going into 2nd grade. I thought I'd post this one since Bailey will be going into 2 grade this year.....anywho, not too shabby.... the bang action looks pretty spiffy (especially with the cute butterfly clip... which I totally remember :) Anywho, feeling pretty good......

Seriously what happened to my hair.

Its like a flowbee gone seriously wrong- I do admit I had a thing for the perms......but I can't recall why my hair ended up like this. (Mom, if you read this, do you remember?) Anywho, besides the fluff monkey that apparently died on my head.... there is the lovely vest & broach detail. Now I'm not totally knocking my 5th grade self... because I do love my earrings......which I think I may still have them somewhere................... anyways......moving on...

My Senior pictures.... not to shabby.....

This year I dyed my hair blond (which went partially orange) but still not to shabby. Maybe my roots could have used a touch up.... but hey......I've come along way in the hair department :)

Anyways, I have so many pictures I could share...

and maybe I will.....oneday.............

and you would think I would share an updated photo

but alas...........that will have to wait.......................

28 random things about myself:

(in no particular order)

1. I love cold stone icecream......cake batter with yellow cake mixed in...........

try it.... it will change your life (like at least 5 pounds good)

2. Exercise.......... especially when I seem to have no self control with food...........

it makes me feel so buff and confident

3. I have to have a water bottle on my nightstand every night.....I hate waking up with a dry

mouth and no water to quench the thirst....and so the water bottle is my friend

4. I have always enjoyed a good book, even when I was younger, but now moments of quiet

free time are few and so I read so darn fast, I don't remember what I've read the next day..

5. I like doing Laundry and Vacuuming (even though when you come over to my house

you'd believe the opposite)

6. I have learned to be alot more patient.........when I was younger I had a bit of a temper....

like the time I threw a butter knife at my brother David.......which I don't recall the reason..

but I'm totally sure he deserved it!

(mom, if your reading this, you totally know I'm joking) and David you know it was out of love

7. I'm pretty good at trying new recipes, I'm not the greatest cook but I do try

(Spaghetti Tuesday is really catching on.......)

8. I can't wear earrings anymore.... I get these nasty infections in my ears.....eewww

It makes me so sad, I had these really cool bunji jumper ones when I was younger

(they had a little guy on the end of what looked like a jumper cord......

ok, maybe slightley dorkey...... but I was into crazy earrings like that)

9. I love all things crafty....but I start more projects then I finish.....

10. I really like the smell of wet cement ( i know, i know...its a bit weird)

11. I love playing games with my family- especially our all night Canasta nights

12. I love my kids laughter... it makes me laugh every time

13. I have loved living in Kaysville..... it would be hard to move out of it.....

15. Some of my favorite memories have been with my friends.....

especially the late night crazy adventures....and of course talking & laughing

16. I love the sound of bagpipes.....I would listen to the Braveheart CD over & over

when I was younger........ahhh memories

17. I love taking that "perfect" picture.....the one you know will turn out special and unique

to whomever your taking it for.

18. I'm pretty willing to try any food once

19. I wish I was more organized, even though I like orgainzing other peoples things

20. I love the way music can touch every emotion you have....its one of my favorite things!!

21. Don't tell my hubby.....but I secretly love that he loves cars and owns a fast one.....and that

he knows how to fix almost everything on them. He's quite handy :)

22. The song "Families can be together forever" makes me tear up every time. Its one of my

favorite songs of all time.

23. If my closet could be filled with mostly shoes....i'd be happy :)

24. T.M.I. ----- I have to always have something to read when I go to the bathroom

25. I am a worrier....I get that from my mother

26. I have the most vivid dreams.........I've woke up laughing, crying, mad, happy, ect

27. Two of my favorite movies of all time is "while you were sleeping" & "Ever After"

28. My family is everything to me. I couldn't have been placed in a better family.

And of course my own little family.......what would I do without you ;)

So there you have it......
